A 1.600-mile network of walking trails in Southeast Brabant
Southeast Brabant is a wonderful region for a walk or a decent hike. The diverse countryside houses many kinds of animals and plants. The region boasts a network of no less than 1.600 miles of waymarked routes, making it the proud owner of the largest network of walking routes in the Netherlands. The walking network works just like the cycling network: you decide how far you want to go and on which roads. The junctions are spread across vast nature reserves and scenic villages. Using the handy maps of the walking network from Regio-VVV, composing your own route is easy as pie.
